TP Academy is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Instructor to teach practical defense techniques, threat mitigation, and industry security practices. In this role, you will design lab exercises, explain complex security protocols clearly, and prepare students for foundational cybersecurity careers and certifications.
Teach foundational concepts in network security, system administration, and ethical hacking.
Lead interactive lab demonstrations covering vulnerability scanning, penetration testing basics, and mitigation techniques.
Train students on identifying common web application risks (OWASP Top 10) and secure configuration.
Evaluate hands-on student lab assessments and provide technical guidance.
Key Requirements
BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in information security, SOC analysis, or ethical hacking.
Working knowledge of security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit) and Linux environments.
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and modern encryption standards.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar) are a strong advantage.
Previous instructional or mentoring experience is preferred.
